Horsham District Council (HDC) said the majority of the money would go towards 14 vehicles to collect the waste weekly.Domestic food waste collections for all homes, including flats, will start in March 2026.HDC heard that locally 40% of the waste in the average bin was food, with 70% of that being completely avoidable.
